7th Annual Harvest Moon

We had to cancel the Harvest Moon Event in 2020, but save the date for 2021! October 27th – Time, Location, and Tickets coming soon.

In spite or perhaps because of the COVID Pandemic, C-CAP Arizona has a record number of 52 Arizona High Schools signed up for the C-CAP Educational program.

Visiting 52 High Schools spread across Arizona can be a challenge, and to deliver it virtually adds to that challenge. The students have had to cut back so many high school experiences. We want to help them not to lose their culinary passion but to continue to grow their culinary passion.

In the past, we have relied on Local Restaurants to help us with fundraising, hands-on experiences, and donation of their times and services. This year so many restaurants are struggling with only 25% capacity limits and having to manage take-out food service.

You can help by participating in the Featured Restaurants whether dine-in or dine-out, sponsor a high school, purchase knife kits, aprons, shirts, caps for students, or schools. All proceeds are used to support Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP Arizona).

Donate $20 to C-CAP Arizona and we will send you a Don’t Whisk It Mask. Just a few masks left available. mlc@collaborativeem.com for details on how you can get yours.

In Arizona, Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) is a statewide program that prepares 6,600 high school students in 40 schools for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. C-CAP provides curriculum enrichment for high school culinary classrooms, career exploration and advising opportunities, scholarships through cooking competitions, college advising, teacher professional development, and product donations for classrooms.
